In Yoga, Kundalini, is traditionally understood as a spiritual energy located at the base of the spine, and is symbolized by a coiled serpent— a snake representing life’s cycles, transformation, and renewal. The serpent embodies the themes of shedding, growth, and rebirth, which are consistent with Nature herself. Cha Dao, or the way of Tea is a practice of self-cultivation to awaken presence, dance with the elements and sustain longer states of meditation. In this Tea Ceremony, we will come together to honour the Lunar New Year; year of the Snake. This intimate ceremony of 8 participants holds a reverent space to commune with Tea, anchor stillness, and presence in yourself in a meditative experience with others. Facilitated by SJ Gooding
